About Us...
The Wales Adult Learner's Network is for learners' who want to make a difference to the provision and promotion of learning for adults in Wales. Members of the network help promote and encourage learning and motivate others to get involved.
What We Do...
Throughout Wales, we encourage and support adult learners to be able to speak for themselves, in discussions with learning providers such as colleges and local education authorities. This enables us learners to play a part in improving the learning experience.
We seek to provide opportunities, for learners and learning providers, to meet and discuss the improvement of adult learning, giving learners a voice in shaping the available learning opportunities.
The Wales Adult Learners’ Network empower learners to influence changes in policy on lifelong learning at a local, national and international level; Raising awareness for the value learner-led advocacy groups such as the Global Learners' Network and other learner-led forums.

What We Want To Achieve...
The Wales Adult Learners’ Network empower learners to influence changes in policy on lifelong learning at a local, national and international level; Raising awareness for the value learner-led advocacy groups such as the Global Learners' Network and other learner-led forums.
There are also thousands of individual learners’ out there who want their voice to be heard and are not members of any organisations and don’t know how to be heard. We want to help them channel their voice in the right direction so that they are heard
We don’t want to be the voice we want to bring all the voices together, as one voice that will be heard loud and clear. The Wales Adult Learners’ Network is your network, it is created to bring your voices together, as one. As a strong collective voice you will make a difference to adult learning.
If we all shout together the same thing at the same time we can have a positive impact on shaping the future of adult learning in Wales and around the world. |
